NMQOC Inc. Orchid of the Year
The NMQOC Inc. judging subcommittee awards plants at shows and convened judgings. Over the year, awarded plants are collated and at the first judges' meeting each year, an Orchid of the Year is chosen. The judges consider quality and culture of the various plants to inform their vote. An Orchid of the Year certificate is given to the owner of the plant selected.
